The Port of Seattle intends to negotiate a contract with
Hello Lamp Post, San Francisco, CA
to provide the following:
Proof of Concept (PoC): Location-Based Digital Assistant at SEA
For
Airport Innovation on behalf of Airport Customer Service/Experience
Port of Seattle is exploring Proof-of-Concept (PoC) testing a Location-Based Digital Assistant application to observe
how users naturally engage with the system in real time, including participation rates, chat conversations, and the
relevance of insights gathered based on actual user engagement. Selected Supplier to provide a software-only
solution that provides passengers with location-based information at all key points during their airport journey as
their needs change. The solution will provide location-based suggestions. This automated solution will integrate
with existing platforms such as mapping vendor Atrius. The primary purpose of this pilot is to evaluate whether
an AI virtual assistant can enhance the passenger experience by providing timely, self-service information
throughout the airport by using location-specific QR codes. Specifically, the pilot aims to:
* Understand how passengers interact with AI customer assistance in an airport environment in various
strategic locations.
* Measure customer adoption, engagement, and satisfaction.
* Identify the types of questions passengers ask and determine where existing information gaps exist.
* Evaluate whether the solution can complement existing customer service resources by providing 24/7
support.
* Gather operational data and insights to inform future customer experience and digital engagement
strategies.
The pilot is intended to validate both customer acceptance of AI and the operational value the technology may
provide before considering any long-term implementation.
The PoC project has a firm not to exceed (NTE) cost of $44,756. exclusive of Washington State sales tax. The PoC
will run for a maximum of twelve (12) months with findings informing future decisions.
Firms who believe they can compete for this requirement are required to submit via e-mail to: e-submittals-
purch@portseattle.org, an Expression of Interest by August 6, 2026. Include "26-81 PoC Location Based Digital

This Notice is not a solicitation for proposals, but information gathered will inform our Intent to Negotiate with a
selected [vendor/firm] for potential collaboration on this PoC project. In addition, the Port of Seattle does not
guarantee that any solicitation will occur as a result of this PoC but reserves the right to solicit proposals.
When submitting an expression of interest, applicants commit to the following terms:
* Do not submit any of the following: confidential information; ideas subject to intellectual property
protection (i.e., patents, trademarks, copyrights, or trade secrets); Protected Personal Information (PPI),
or Sensitive Security Information (SSI). The Port of Seattle reserves the right to use contents of your
expression of interest to develop future solicitations.

* All submissions will become a public record under Washington state law and may be subject to public
disclosure under the Washington Public Records Act (RCW 42.56).
* Participation for the full length of the pilot, if selected.
* If/when selected, applicant must have a working pilot-ready product(s) or service(s) ready to be tested at
the Port. Applicants may not simply submit "ideas" and must have solutions that are deployment ready.
* Your expression of interest will be reviewed and may go through an evaluation process.
* We do our best to respond to each expression of interest, however due to the large volume of responses
we may receive your submission will not necessarily be directly responded to.
* The request for expression of interest should not be construed as a contract to purchase goods or services
* Subsequent to the submission of expressions of interest, interviews or requests for additional information
may be conducted with some or none of the respondents, but there will be no obligation to receive
unsolicited information, whether written or oral, from any respondent.
* The Port will not be obligated in any manner to any respondent until a written contract has been fully
executed relating to a submitted expression of interest.
* The Port of Seattle is not responsible in any manner for any fees or costs associated with the submittal of
an expression of interest.

a technology component but doesn't necessarily hinge on any specific technology) If so, describe how.
10. Is your product or service deployment ready? Applicants must have a working pilot-ready product ready
to be tested at the Port. Applicants may not submit "ideas" and must have solutions that are
deployment ready.
