Rebid of LCTI Secure Entrance & Nursing Suite Construction

Project Description: Notice is hereby given that Lehigh Career and Technical Institute will receive sealed bids online via the PennBid Program (http://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 2:00 PM prevailing time on Friday, April 4, 2025, for the Secure Entrance and Nursing Suite Construction. The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, disposal, oversight and permits required to convert a conference room into a secure entrance, storage room and security office, and to reconfigure the nursing suite restroom.
All bidding documents will be available online at no cost via the PennBid Program (http://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) beginning at 12:00 PM on Friday, March 14, 2025.
Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply.
Immediately following the due date and time, all bids received through PennBid will be opened online at the Engineer’s Office and referred to the Lehigh Career and Technical Institute for final award. An abstract of the bids received will be available to bidders on PennBid following the date and time that bids are due as indicated above.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 4500 Education Drive, Schnecksville, PA 18088. All bidders are encouraged to attend. Questions may be submitted through PennBid’s “Messages/Public Q&A” tab on or before 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Responses will be provided via PennBid to all registered parties.
The Lehigh Career and Technical Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
