The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (herein after “District”, “Owner” and “CFTOD”) is a Special Taxing District that serves as a local government entity. The District is responsible for its public infrastructure including, but not limited to roads, bridges, and water control system.
As part of maintaining the infrastructure, the District is seeking the assistance of an experienced contractor for the supply of all needed tires / tire stems and related services for District owned vehicles on an as-needed and emergency basis for a three-year continuing contract term.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, parts, equipment, supervision, transportation, tools, and all other things necessary to supply all needed tires/ tire stems and related services for the Owner’s vehicles in use by Reedy Creek Energy Services. The services will include, but will not be limited to:
• Daily Fleet Inspections at Owner’s Facility and as needed tire work, Monday through Friday STARTING AT 4:00 PM UNTIL MIDNIGHT. Vendor shall stay as long as it takes to complete the inspections and any repairs/replacements. Vendor is expected to leave after all inspections and repairs/replacements are completed. NOTE: Typically, services only take 1-3 hours most nights.
• Tire related services to the fleet and suggestions on a daily basis, Monday through Friday. The contractor shall follow the Owner’s Representative’s instructions and air up tires and change tires as directed.
• Contractor shall provide Owner with quarterly reports showing tire wear and tread depth remaining.
• Contractor shall provide details for alignment services.
Tires will be price matched with the State of Florida tire contract or the Florida Sheriffs' contract pricing.
