SOLICITATION NO.: FRBIR255260/MN Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) has established a contracting opportunity to install Bus Shelters as outlined in the Solicitation documents. The resultant contract, if awarded, will be federally funded. General Scope: The scope of work is for Bus Shelter Replacements and is through the lowest priced, responsive, and responsible competitive sealed bid Contract for the Bus Shelter Replacement Program at Bus Loops System-wide. The contractor will install new bus shelters at multiple stations across the WMATA System. Bus shelter components shall be provided via a separate contract (by others) working in conjunction with this contract. This work includes but is not limited to demolition, construction (site work), installation, electrical, and testing and commissioning as detailed in the Solicitation documents. All planning, design, and engineering performed by the selected contractor(s) shall be in accordance with WMATA Design Standards for Infrastructure. The Solicitation documents will be made available on WMATA¿s Project Management Software System (Procore). There will be a Virtual Pre-Bid Conference at 11:00AM on June 26, 2025 (please email a request to MNurnberger@wmata.com), and a Site Visit starting at 10:00AM on June 27, 2025. Bids for the Work described shall be submitted to the Contract Administrator, Marc Nurnberger, through WMATA¿s Project Management Software System (PMSS) Procore. Bids shall be submitted before 2:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) on August 6, 2025, as defined in Section 00 10 13 PROJECT SOLICITATION SCHEDULE.
