Description:

The City of Winston-Salem is seeking security and company police services for various City of Winston-Salem facilities. Services solicited under this RFP are for both security personnel and company police personnel services. Company police services shall be defined as services provided by those certified to operate as Company Police, consistent with NC Company Police Act, who have the power to carry a firearm, power to arrest, and all other powers vested to Company Police in the State of North Carolina.

Qualifications:

Qualifications include but are not limited to:
1)        Contractor must be knowledgeable on all applicable North Carolina General Statutes relative to providing the services outlined herein and ensure all staff enforce and apply the North Carolina General Statutes appropriately during the term of the contract.
2)        Contractor must provide documentation that they possess the appropriate credentials, licenses, and/or certifications to provide security and company police services in the state of North Carolina.
3)        Contractor must provide documentation that they are registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State as a business operating in the state.
4)        Contractor must have a minimum of three years’ experience offering security (unarmed guard) and company police (consistent with NC Company Police Act) services.
