Summary:Sealed bids are invited for the Danville RC Modernization Construction HVAC Upgrades, VAFM PN 22-0011, PC#123-18578-008 at Danville, VA.
The project is generally described as the removal and replacement of HVAC units, ductwork, and piping, zoning of HVAC, upgrade of the building automation system and other associated work indicated in the contract documents.
Sealed bids will be received at the front entrance of the building at 3194 North Main Street, Danville VA 24540. The deadline for submitting bids is 1:00 PM sharp, as determined by the Bid Officer, on November 15, 2024. The bids will be opened publicly and read aloud beginning at 8:00 AM, on November 19, 2024, at Department of Military Affairs, Building 561, Ft. Barfoot, Blackstone, VA 23824. All bids SHALL be submitted in a sealed envelope. Bid envelopes must be Hand Delivered to the Bid Officer and marked on the exterior (for immediate visual identification) as follows to ensure timely delivery: Attn: Kenneth M. Daniel

A pre-bid conference will be held at the site at 3194 North Main Street, Danville VA 24540 on October 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Attendance SHALL BE MANDATORY for those submitting a bid. Anyone arriving at the pre-bid conference late will not be allowed to enter the meeting nor sign the attendee list. This will be the only time available for prospective bidders to view the project site. Subcontractors, suppliers, and other interested parties are encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference.
