| Description: | The Workforce Outdoor Training Site project will serve our new CDL and Lineman Training programs, as well as, driving portions of our Basic Law Enforcement Training. The project site is on HCC’S main campus and the scope of work will include necessary construction work to accommodate a driver training pad, a pavilion building with restrooms and instructional space, parking, a lineman pole yard, mock transformers, and all necessary infrastructure installations/connections (fiber, water, sewer, stormwater, electricity). ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed proposals will be received until 3:00pm, on December, 17th, 2024 in the Hawthorn Building 3500, Conference Room 3532, Haywood Community College, Clyde, North Carolina, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment for the Haywood Community College Workforce and Industry Training Center Sitework. Mailed proposals shall be sent to the attention of Brek Lanning at the following address: Haywood Community College, 185 Freedlander Drive, Clyde, North Carolina 28721. It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure that the bids arrive before the bid opening time of 3:00 EST. PRE-BID MEETING A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walk-through will be held for interested bidders on November 21st, 2024 at 1:30 pm, at the project site, 1684 Jones Cove Rd, Clyde, North Carolina 28721. Followed by a walkthrough of the site. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS Complete plans, specifications and contract documents may be obtained at the office of Architect which is located at 47 Rankin Ave, Suite 141, Asheville, NC 28801. Digital (pdf) versions of the Bid Documents may be obtained upon request of Ethan Ward (eward@mcmillanpazdansmith.com). A Newforma Info Exchange link will be provided to allow the Bidder to access and download the Bid Documents.
