ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Coventry Public Schools hereinafter called the “CPS” will receive sealed bids for the following:
Coventry High School Fire Protection Renovations
Sealed Bids shall be received at the office of the Administration Building, 1675 Flat River Road,
Coventry, RI 02816, no later than: 2:00 PM on December 11th, 2025 for the “Coventry High
School Fire Protection Renovations” project where they will be read aloud.
Bids received after the stipulated time shall not be accepted and will be returned unopened.
All Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to the Director of Finance, Coventry
Public Schools, 1675 Flat River Road, Coventry, RI 02816, and must be plainly marked in the
lower left-hand corner, “Coventry High School Fire Protection Renovations”. Please provide
two (2) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy on USB with your submittal.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid on site conference is scheduled for December 3rd at 3:00 PM at
Coventry High School, 40 Reservoir Road, Coventry, RI 02816.
Copies of the bid documents may be downloaded from the following Google Drive site starting

No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days subsequent to the date of the bid
opening. Coventry Public Schools reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any
and all bids or to accept any bids deemed to be in the best interest of the School Department.
This project is a prevailing wage project and requires a 5% Bid Bond. The project requires 15%
MBE/WBE Participation. The successful bidder will be required to furnish 100% Payment and
Performance Bonds at the time of award.
