REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Professional Asbestos Identification Services
The City of University City has been working with state and federal agencies to develop
and implement programs designed to help homeowners and tenants who experienced
damage from flooding in July 2022.
The City of University City must procure a Missouri Department of Natural Resources
licensed asbestos inspector to complete asbestos inspections and provide a report on the
findings for up to twelve (12) single-family residential structures, four (4) multi-family
structures, and associated outbuildings. The City of University City reserves the right to
reject any and all bids.
Bids shall be emailed to Becky Ahlvin, Interim Planning & Zoning Director, at
bahlvin@ucitymo.org, mailed, or delivered to:

The bids should include a unit price per structure. The bids must be received no later
than 3 pm on April 6, 2026. The bids must specify the timeframe in which the
inspections and reports will be completed. The timeframe for completion of services will
be a consideration in evaluating bids.
