NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received by the Greene County Board of Commissioners, Ohio, 35
Greene Street, Xenia, Ohio 45385, until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2026, for 2601ES Household
Hazardous Waste Services, for the Greene County Sanitary Engineering Department. At such
time the bids will be opened and read aloud. All bids shall be submitted in accordance with the
requirements of the Instructions to Bidders. This legal advertisement is also published on the
Greene County Board of County Commissioners website,
http://www.greenecountyohio.gov/bids.aspx.
The Board of Greene County Commissioners seeks a qualified Independent Contractor to
collect and manage Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) for the Sanitary Engineering
Department, Environmental Services Division.
Copies of the Specifications, the estimated quantities of the items of work, the proposal
and contract forms can be downloaded at the Bid Express website
https://www.bidexpress.com/solicitations and are on file in the Greene County Sanitary
Engineering Department, 667 Dayton-Xenia Road, Xenia, Ohio 45385.
A Prebid Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on April 28, 2026, in-person at the Greene County
Environmental Services, 2145 Greene Way Blvd, Xenia, Ohio 45385, or online via Microsoft
Teams. All interested parties must register by 2:00 p.m. on April 27, 2026. Register by email at
christine.fowler@greenecountyohio.gov.
Engineer's Estimate: $475,000
Bids shall be submitted electronically via Bid Express
https://www.bidexpress.com/solicitations or if submitted via hard copy the Bids shall be
enclosed in a sealed envelope identified as "2601ES Household Hazardous Waste Services" and
must have full name and address of the Bidder on the envelope. Proposals must be submitted on
the proposal form furnished with accompanying required bonds. Any proposals deemed non-
compliant shall be rejected. The Greene County Board of Commissioners is tax-exempt.
The Board of County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive
any irregularities or informalities of Bids, should same be to the advantage of the County.
