Grazing and Haying Lease
Terms:
• Five-year term beginning January 1, 2026, and ending September 30, 2030, with a possible five-year extension.
• Full payment is required upon execution of the lease agreement
• Lessee is responsible for adhering to all terms and conditions of the lease
• Lessee is responsible for all required weed control on the leased land
• Lessee must carry a minimum of $2 million in liability insurance and name Red Deer County as an additional insured
• Refundable deposit equal to 20% of the annual bid amount (minimum $2,000) is required with first annual lease payment
• Pastureland / Permanent Forage Only
