Generator (P/N: 051496-311) and Hose Assemblies (P/N: 051496-606)

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst New Jersey, intends to solicit on a sole source basis to Hydraulics International, Inc. located in Chatsworth, California. The anticipated Firm Fixed-Price contract is for the acquisition of Generator, Part Number: 051496-311, NSN: 4920-01-620-5154, and Hose Assemblies, Part Number: 051496-606, NSN: 4720-01-642-9666 in support of the C-130 Program.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this procurement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as Hydraulics International, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the above P/Ns. A solicitation will NOT be posted following the close of this synopsis, unless alternate offerors are identified.

Hydraulics International, Inc. is the OEM of the above P/Ns. The data rights for the P/Ns are proprietary to the OEM, and the Government does not have the rights to the data.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the data of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
