Camp Roosevelt Toilet Vault

SCOPE OF WORK:

The U.S. Forest Service is seeking to contract all labor, supervision, equipment, and

materials to provide and install a new vault toilet building. All components will be

procured, applied, and installed per manufacturer's recommendations and specifications, per

industry standards, and per local, State, and Federal law. Location- Shenandoah County, VA

38.732220, -78.516840. MAGNITUDE (b) Between $25,000 and $100,000.

The contractor shall: . Provide, deliver and install a new concrete vault toilet building

that meets the following requirements:

o Two separate handicap accessible restrooms with lockable doors

o Storage space provided with lockable door

o Durable, maintenance free materials.

. Provide all earthwork including excavation for vaults, removal of any foreign materials

from the pit, backfill with proper compaction

. Install and orient building such that vent pipes absorb sufficient heat from the sun and

such that prevailing winds carry odors away from camp sites

.Clean up site to pre-construction conditions. Remove and dispose of all debris including

unused soil off government property.

.Provide 1-Year labor and materials warranty.
