Paratransit Dispatching Software - FTA Funded

The objective of this project is to procure a comprehensive paratransit software solution that enhances the scheduling, management, and operation of Vista Transit’s paratransit services. The solution should facilitate efficient service delivery through online booking, automated reminders, real-time tracking, route optimization, and a user-friendly mobile app.

Vista Transit serves the transportation needs of the residents of Sierra Vista, with a commitment to providing accessible and reliable transit services. The current paratransit operations require modernization to improve efficiency and user satisfaction. From July 2023 to June of 2024 Vista Transit provided approximately 8,000 paratransit rides. On average we have 3 buses and drivers dedicated to paratransit transportation daily. The following map shows Vista Transit’s current service area. The hope is to expand Vista Transit’s service area by leveraging the efficiencies gained with the implementation of a ride scheduling software.
