The overall goal of this RFP is to obtain qualified hazardous waste management companies to assist MDE with the safe pick-up, transport, and disposal of PFAS-containing fire-fighting foam concentrate from eligible and willing fire departments throughout the state, as identified by MDE and per the George Walter Taylor Act (Senate Bill 0273), Sections 6-1603E and 6-1604 of the Environmental Article, Annotated Code of Maryland
