Water Meters & Material
The R.M. of Caron No. 162 is undertaking a water meter replacement project in the Hamlet of Caron. The project goal is to reduce line loss, improve water meter efficiency, monitor water consumption, generate more accurate water billing and quickly address water breaks.
There are approximately 83 water connections in the Hamlet.
The R.M. of Caron is requesting quotes for phase one of three phases which includes:
Replacing 18 units of 5/8” with meters with remote read radio frequency technology.
Tail pieces for each meter.
Remote reader and software system.
The project will be undertaken during the construction season from August to October to avoid inclement weather.
