Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, sealed bids for a lump sum contract are invited for the following work:
The project involves interior demolition of approximately 11,600 gross square feet of space on the second floor of the Peter Morton Medical Building (known as MP200), located on campus at 200 Medical Plaza, Los Angeles. The scope of work includes demolition of all interior finishes, framing, ceilings and casework as well as mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems; nurse call, and security systems located within the area of work. Dust control and safety barriers shall be installed per the specifications. Short term containment shall be included to separate the shell space from adjacent occupied suites. All work shall be performed off-hours. Data regarding waste materials removed will be required from the contractor to meet sustainability requirements.
