Perform replacement of two (2) inoperable 2014 Mercury 250 four-stroke engines with two (2) Government provided new 2024 Mercury four-stroke engines onto a 2003 Boston Whaler, Model 27. Additionally, inspect, assess and repair the boat trailer to fully operational condition.
1. 1. Procure, replace, install, and operationally test all necessary peripheral equipmentto install new engines, and ensure boat's compatibility with new engines to include, but not limited to: replace and/or top off all fluids, oil filters, fuel water separator assemblies, upgrade trim tabs, install new depth finder GPS, replace harnesses, replace wiper kit, replace ignition switches, replace batteries, replace tie straps, replace electronic assemblies, replace fuel cartridges, etc.
2. Inspect, assess, and perform all required repairs to the metal deck plate and surrounding areas where the outboard engines mount to the boat's hull. Conduct necessary fiberglass repairs.
3. Inspect, assess, and make all repairs necessary to return the boat trailer to fully operational condition. This includes procurement, replacement and installation of the following items: LED oval light grommets (2), amber clearance light (4), 29ft. harness, winch cable with hook 7 /32 (1), new tires (4), repack all wheel bearing, replace wood planks, and brake system.

The work for this requirement will be done at the contractors facility. Following preliminary inspections between the contractor and government point of contact at the contractor's facility, the contractor, will transport the Boston Whaler Model 27 and trailer from the contractor's facility to Lake Mead or other agreed upon body of water to conduct operational testing.
All contractors must meet all requirements needed to install and work on any equipment, including but not limited to, the new Mercury motors that are to be installed. Any contractor that does not possess the necessary credentials that may void any warranty will not be considered.
Attached is the PWS and a Redacted quote for informational purposes. Equipment and part numbers are not required to match the quote provided, equal and like parts are permitted unless incompatable with existing equipment.
