STATEMENT OF WORK
GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Title: MEDIVATOR SCOPE DRYING CABINETS

2. Scope of work: VAMC Beckley SPS department has been affected by end of life for our Scope drying cabinet and needs to be replaced due to age and the resulting down time due to break downs. Endodry system will circulate better than HEPA filtered air through both the channels of the endoscopes as well as around the exterior of the scope ensuring it is bone dry within 1 hour.
This cabinet filters air down to .01 micron. This cabinet is the only cabinet on the market that has the validation for 100% bone dry internal channels as well as data that supports a 31-day storage time with no microbial growth. This cabinet is able to track storage times. This cabinet will utilize the same transport cassettes and hookup blocks as the Advantage Plus, thus providing superior efficiency. The hookup blocks are HLD d every single scope.
This cabinet in conjunction with the cassette system has been proven to reduce endoscope repair damages due to its hands free scope transfers. Medivator Endo Dry scope storage cabinet is part of the Medivator scope processing system we use at Beckley VAMC is compatible with our current Medivators and the New Pass-thru medivators.
