Scope of Services
It is the intent of this Request for Quote (RFQ) to purchase three (3) Variable Frequency
Drives (VFD) drives and motors for three (3) of the chilled water air handlers based on a
fixed price, in accordance with the specifications listed herein. Kissimmee Utility Authority
(KUA) will accept any brand of drives and motors, but the preferred brand is Yaskawa.
All work must be started and completed during non-business hours. Business hours are
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM to avoid operational disruptions.
Remove old variable inlet valves, install new static pressure sensors if needed, install new
motors & fan/blower sheaves, and clean fans/blowers.
Equivalent products meeting or exceeding the listed specifications, as determined by the
Kissimmee Utility Authority, will be considered.
Manufacturers listed in this RFQ are intended to establish a level of quality and
performance.
The sizes of the motors that will be replaced:
• 2 each - 7.5 HP, 3 phase, 460V, Frame size S213T
• 1 each - 15 HP, 3 phase, 460V, Frame size S254T
