Intent to Sole Source Notice F3C3SF5155AW01 VICADS

The 5th Contracting Squadron in Minot Air Force Base, ND, intends to award a single source purchase order to provide the VICADS System. Prometheus Security Group Global's VICADS V100 VMS has an approved Authority Operate IAW AFI 17-101, managed by AFLCMC/HBUC, and is the only system on the AFLCMC/HBU Nuclear and Non-Nuclear Configuration Management Database (CMD) which is the authorized listing of VMS and security sensor equipment approved by Headquarters Air Force for installation of security systems in support of base defense operations.

The statutory authority that permits awarding this contract using other than full and open competition is FAR 13.501(a), 41 U.S.C. 1901, which allows for acquisitions conducted under simplified acquisition procedures for sole source purchases. The anticipated award date is after 26 August 2025. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide a repair service for the VICADS. The deadline for the submittals is 26 August 2025 at 11 am Central Standard Time.

A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
