This RFI does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. It is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as a Request for Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this RFI or the Government’s use of such information. Any information you submit in response to this notice is voluntary and will become the property of the Government. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Submitting a response to this notice does not guarantee that your firm will be solicited for a proposal.

Purpose:

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is seeking industry input on existing capability to perform maintenance and repair tasks on the following CRAC and HVAC equipment:

Liebert/Vertiv Deluxe System Model numbers: 3 x DH125A-AAEIS506 10 Ton, 2 x DH199A-AAEI9885 17 Ton.



2 x Daikin HVAC Model number RXS36LVJU/Basic/2PMs.



2 x Daikin COND Unit Model number RKAN24NMVJU/Basic/2PMs.

Agency Information and Background:

Location: OPM Macon, GA Office – 4865 Log Cabin Drive, Macon, GA 31204

The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources to provide computer room air conditioning (CRAC) and HVAC services. The information received will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a small business set-aside is appropriate.

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is seeking qualified contractors to provide both preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on computer room air conditioning (CRAC) and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) services for the OPM Macon office. Specifically, OPM is interested in sources that can provide services on all the equipment shown in the inventory table above. The anticipated contract will include preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and parts replacement when required.

Performance Period

Anticipated base period of one (1) year with four (4) one-year option periods.

Capability Statement Requirements

Interested parties should submit a capability statement (maximum 6 pages) that includes:

1. Company Information

o Business name, address, point of contact, phone, email

o CAGE Code, DUNS/UEI number

o Business size and type (small or large business, veteran-owned, HUBZone, 8(a), etc.)

o GSA Schedule information if applicable

2. Technical Capabilities

o Experience with CRAC systems (specify manufacturers and models)

o Experience with large-scale HVAC systems

o Relevant certifications (EPA 608, NATE, manufacturer certifications, etc.)

o Quality control procedures

o Emergency response capabilities

3. Past Performance

o Minimum two (2) similar projects completed within the last five (5) years

o For each project include: client name, contract value, description of work, point of contact with phone/email

o Federal government contract experience (if any)

4. Resources

o Number of qualified technicians

o Geographic coverage and response times

o Equipment and tools inventory

5. Respondents to this notice shall be authorized service providers for equipment in the table above. Specifically, please respond to the following questions:

o Can you provide Vertiv Certified Thermal Service Team members with the training to perform maintenance and repairs, and to provide replacement parts for, Liebert thermal products?

o Can you provide general HVAC maintenance and repair services on Daikin and Carrier brand equipment, via HVAC technicians with Universal CFC certification?
