| Solicitation Document Description: | The RFQ is an invitation by the City of Toronto (the “City”) to prospective Suppliers to submit bids for the collection, transportation and off-loading services of Containerized Front-end Garbage, Organic Materials, Oversized items, and Durable Goods from Multiple Household Residences, Non-Residential locations, CIROs (Charities, Institutions, and Religious Organizations) and Divisions, Agencies, Corporations (DAC's) and related facilities in the City of Toronto. The collection, transportation and off-loading services of Containerized Front-end Recycling from Non-eligible locations, for the City of Toronto's Solid Waste Management Services Division, as further described in Part 3 and the Contract (the “Deliverables”). Refer to RFQ Part 2 Agreement and 3 Spec for more details. |
| Specific Conditions for Procurement: |
Suppliers must have commenced at least one project within ten (10) years of the closing date of this RFQ and have successfully completed at least five (5) consecutive years of the contract term, for which the supplier was the sole provider of Multi-Residential Containerized Front-end Collection and/or Containerized Front-end Industrial, Commercial & Institutional (ICI) Collection Services.
AND Collection utilizing a minimum of twenty (20) collection vehicles on each collection day. (Refer to RFQ Part 3, Schedule "D” Collection Locations Listings). AND Providing services within a contiguous metropolitan area as defined by Statistics Canada consisting of urban and suburban sections. Refer to Part 4, Form B for Qualification and other requirements. |
