Breckenridge SH9 Median and Roundabout Annual Install and Landscape Maintenance
February 2nd, 2026
Proposals for the Breckenridge SH9 Median and Roundabout Annual Install and Landscape Maintenance shall be accepted by the Owner, the Town of Breckenridge, via email at KyleG@townofbreckenridge.com and websiteclerk@townofbreckenridge.com until 1:00PM, February 13th, 2026. Emails shall have the subject of “2026 Breckenridge SH9 Median Landscape” and include the contractor’s name. Emails must have the completed bid documents attached to it. Emails with documents linked to other cloud-based servers Will Not Be Accepted. Only Email Submittal of Bids Will Be Accepted. There will not be a public bid opening. Bids will be opened and a bid tabulation provided to all bidding contractors via their provided email address on February 17th, 2026. The Town of Breckenridge reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities and irregularities therein.
All questions must be submitted via email to the Town by 5:00 PM on February 10 th , 2026. Questions shall be sent by email to Kyle Gilmore, Parks Assistant Manager, KyleG@townofbreckenridge.com .
The project primarily consists of:
The removal of existing landscape fabric in annual beds. The removal of 1” inch of mulch and replace with 2” new mulch as specified/approved by the Town. The purchase and the installation of new annual flowers in the existing roundabout & median in Breckenridge on SH9 between Valley Brook St. and the Park Ave/Main St. roundabout. Annual flower species are identified on L-02 of the Roundabout Annual Lay document. Any substitutions or recommendations are encouraged; however, they must be approved by the Town in writing (See Appendix B). The Town will furnish annual baskets and the contractor will maintain them. Bids must include traffic control for annual flower installation and weekly traffic control after the first month.
A 5% Bid Bond will be required. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required of the successful Bidder.
