Frontier Housing will be accepting bids from qualified contractors to remove hazardous materials, and construction debris from the former Hayswood Hospital, located at 20 West Fourth Street, Maysville, Kentucky.

The interior of the building will be demolished, including the abatement of all Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM), lead based paint, universal wastes, and hazardous materials. The contract also requires the removal of all non-load bearing walls, equipment, piping, electrical, HVAC, windows, doors, roofing and debris, followed by proper off-site disposal or recycling of all materials in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Additionally, all debris and vegetation from the property perimeter and interior courtyard shall be removed.

Bid Documents are available for inspection on the Buffalo Trace Area Development District website, or a hard copy may be reviewed at the Buffalo Trace Area Development District office, 201 Government Street, Suite 300 P.O. Box 460 Maysville, Kentucky 41056.

An on-site pre-bid meeting will be held at 11:00 am local time, September 27, 2024. Forms in the Bid Documents must be used for bidding.

Bids will be accepted until 5:00 pm local time, October 21, 2024. Bids will be accepted via hard copy delivered or mailed to:
