This solicitation specification covers the electrical installation in connection of an elevator project at a USG-owned building. The work consists of, but is not limited to the following:
- Installation of the elevator power supply
- Lighting including the associated control system for the vestibule
- Electric heating for the vestibule and elevator shaft, including control system
- Disassembly and removal of existing electrical installations next to the two windows (alarm contacts) that will be converted into elevator doors.
- Reinstallation of the alarm contacts at the 2 vestibule access doors
- Alarm system (contingency item)
- Delivery, assembly and implementation of a wireless alarm system for the survey of 4 doors
- Workshop drawings and assembly planning of the above-mentioned installations and components
- Tests, commissioning and certificates, Assembly book, Electrical report.
Estimated size of the project according to FAR 36.204 is between $25,000 and $100,000.
