Sierra Army Depot located in Herlong, California has a requirement for:
Three Hundred Twenty (320); Inland Petroleum Distribution System – Fuel Hoses: Must be Berry Amendment compliant (per 10 U.S.C. 4862. See also DFARS 225.7002-2); Must be MIL-PRF-370, Type C, collapsible, lightweight; Must be Class 0 (no ends, the Government will be adding its own six-inch CAM-LOCK 1 M ends and 1 F ends with caps and plugs); Must be 50 feet in length; Inside diameter: 6 inches; Outside diameter: 6.125 inches; Layer Composition and Location: 1st layer braided textile yarn and outer layer molded rubber, Ethylene Propylene; Must meet 81349-MIL-H-53073; Must have round cross-sectional shape; Must have burst test pressure of 600 pounds per square inch; Must have a maximum operating pressure of 150 pounds per square inch; Must have a hydrostatic test pressure of 300 pounds per square inch; The condition of the inside surface must be smooth; Nondefinitive Specs/Std. Data: 6 size and A type.
The Army intends to award one single firm-fixed price purchase order as a result of this solicitation. This requirement is being solicited as 100% small business set-aside and will be conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR part 12.
The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 326220 – Rubber and Plastics Hoses and Belting Manufacturing. The related small business size standard is 800 employees.
In accordance with FAR Clause 52.204-7; Contractors are required to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) when submitting an offer or quotation and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance and through final payment of any purchase order or contract resulting from this solicitation.

All responsible sources may submit a quote and those conforming to the requirements of the solicitation may be considered for award. In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), availability of this solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing and may be emailed to Jason Huth at jason.c.huth.civ@army.mil.
Questions shall include reference to the RFQ number in the subject line. Questions must be received a minimum of five (5) days before the closing date listed in the RFQ. No telephone questions will be accepted. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will only be posted on this website.
