The work under this Contract involves 110 spot repairs at various locations to the approximate 6-mile long
Manhan Rail Trail in City of Easthampton. Spot locations vary in length from a 6-foot to a 36-foot-long
sections of trail. The work consists of minor crack repairs (crack sealing), asphalt repairs (removal and
replacement of asphalt surface), full depth trench (trail section) repair, tree removals, tree root pruning, root
barrier installation, line painting and other incidental work. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the
locations of work as shown on the project plans.
