This synopsis is a NOTICE OF INTENT to award a BPA Call from an established BPA for Region 6 Vault Pumping on the Olympia National Forest and does not constitute a request for quotes or submission of any information in response to this notification. Only contractors with an active BPA for the respective zone will be eligible for this call order.



The USDA Forest Service (FS), Procurement & Property Services (PPS) is issuing this synopsis as a means of complying with the USDA’s policy in the Contracting Desk Book, section 413.303 Simplified Acquisition Methods – Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs). BPA calls over $25,000 require synopsis to the government point of entry, even if a synopsis was done at the BPA level. Exemption at FAR 5.202(a)(11) does not apply.



This procurement is restricted to the approved eligible companies.



Description:



The Olympic National Forest has a requirement for Vault Toilet Pumping Services on the Pacific Ranger District and Hood Canal Ranger District. The intent of this contract is to pump approximately 36 toilet vaults located on the districts as directed by the U.S. Forest Service.



The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies to remove trash, pump, wash down, cleanup and dispose of all waste products removed from toilet vaults in accordance with the following contract specifications and in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Trash from vaults is to be disposed of off National Forest Land.



Procedure used to solicit and award contract: This notice is for the issuance of a blanket purchase agreement call request on BPA Region 6 Vault Pumping.
