- Summary:To solicit bids from qualified and properly licensed Virginia firms to provide general contractor services to include elevation of the structure, footings and necessary foundation/masonry work and various other contracting disciplines for five (5) private residential homes needing elevation due to floodplain conditions. The County intends to award the contract to one single Contractor. The work may be carried out either concurrently or consecutively, depending on the contractor's capacity and project management approach. The County reserves the right to make multiple awards from this solicitation and the use of the contracted firms shall be at the sole discretion of the County.
