PBX Maintenance

The New York State Office of Mental Health requires continued maintenance and support of existing PBX phone systems at the facilities listed in the table of Appendix B. If one company cannot service all the facilities needed, OMH reserves the right to use multiple vendors to cover the facilities.

Examples of services requested include but are not limited to:

• 24/7 remote system monitoring;
• Analog and digital ports maintenance;
• Analog and digital trunk ports maintence;
• Testing and troubleshooting of the PBX system to identify and resolve any issues or faults;
• Configuration of new phone extensions, voicemail boxes, and call routing rules as needed;
• Monitoring of call quality and network performance to ensure the system is functioning optimally;
• Provisioning and configuration of new hardware components as needed, such as additional phones or network switches;
• Regular system health checks and preventative maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues before they become critical problems;
• Technical support and assistance for end-users to help them resolve any issues or problems with their PBX phone system.
