Saegertown High School Chlorine Contact Piping

Project Description: Sealed bids will be received electronically via PennBid by PENNCREST School District until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026, for the Saegertown High School Chlorine Contact Piping, Contract 2026-CC, at which time they will be opened electronically and a summary posted to the PennBid website.
The Work is generally described as follows: Construction of 80 linear feet of 18-inch C900 PVC buried chlorine contact piping and 3-inch Schedule 80 PVC connecting piping, fittings, and valves.

There will be a pre-bid conference for this project held at the east entrance to Saegertown Area Jr.-Sr. High School, 18079 Mook Road, Saegertown, PA. The pre-bid conference will take place on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. Attendance is strongly encouraged but not mandatory.
A certified check or bank draft, payable to PENNCREST School District, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to 10% of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid.
The Contractor must abide by all laws and regulations applicable to public contracts awarded by school districts, including but not limited to equal employment opportunity. Prevailing wages will apply if the contract price exceeds $25,000.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
