Vendors are required to complete and submit at least ONE of the following items by the due date(s) listed. -MWBE Utilization Plan: At time of bid submission (also required when requesting a Partial Waiver) Failure to complete the Utilization Plan or Waiver may deem your bid non-responsive. “OR” -Waiver (or Partial Waiver) of MWBE Utilization Plan: at least Seven (7) days prior to bid due date. Please note that in the event NYCHA receives no responses in connection with this RFQ/RFQ Solicitation Series by the “original” bid submission deadline, the bid submission deadline shall be extended automatically for seven (7) calendar days. Description

The Contractor must provide each Development that it will service with the number of containers required by such Development in order to dispose of its Bulk Garbage. Some Developments may require more than one container be located at the Development for the Term of the Agreement. Prior to commencing work, the Contractor must have each vehicle weighed by an approved weighing facility within the City of New York. The Contractor’s vehicles must be inspected by the New York City Department of Sanitation (DOS). The Contractors must furnish all trucks, drivers, containers, equipment and personnel required to perform the Services. The Contractors must secure a debit card from DOS for each truck to be used to perform Services. The Term of this contract is three (3) years with up to two (2) one-year renewal periods, at NYCHA’s sole discretion.

A non-mandatory virtual Pre-Bid Conference will be hosted, Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM, and will be conducted remotely via Microsoft Teams meeting. Attendance is strongly encouraged and NYCHA requests that Bidders thoroughly review bid documents in advance of the meeting.
