Work Includes Roof restoration will include the removal of the bottom 4' at slate roofing and layers of existingbuilt-in gutters down to bare wood substrate. Install new 24 oz copper built-in gutters with soldered seams andexpansion joints to extend to face of cornice and up and under the bottom edge of the slate roof. Repair woodsubstrate damages. Outlets for downspouts that go from the built-in gutter through the cornice and out of thesoffit should be a heavy gauge, corrosion resistant metal. install hi-temp ice and water shield under bottom 3' ofslate roof. Repair hip and ridge lines on slate roof. Replacing damaged ridge slates as needed. application offibrated roof cement at peak of ridge to extent of previous applications. replace existing downspouts (3) to matchexisting on all three exterior walls around Stallard Ballroom.
