Local Waterfront Revitalization Program

The Village of Arcade (the Village) has received a Grant from NYS Department of State (Department) for a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program. The purpose of this RFP is to procure the services of a firm(s) or individual(s) with a background in land and water use planning, to develop a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program for the Village’s waterfront along Cattaraugus Creek.

The selected Contractor will work with the Village of Arcade to delineate the Village’s waterfront revitalization area (WRA), identify and assess existing natural and cultural resources, learn from the public what is confronting the WRA, examine the current local laws and regulations and assist the Village in drafting any new and amended local laws necessary to support the implementation of land and water uses and projects that will be identified in the LWRP. The Village has a goal of 30% MWBE utilization. Minority- and Woman-owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) are encouraged to respond to the RFP, either as prime or subcontractors.
