Project Description: Sealed bids for the 2026 Borough-Wide Pedestrian Improvements and Traffic Calming project will be received electronically through PennBid (pennbid.procureware.com) until 11:00 A.M. on September 11, 2026. Work includes curb, sidewalk, ADA curb ramps, accessible pedestrian signal push buttons, pavement markings, signage, and related work. Bidding documents are available through PennBid. Questions must be submitted through PennBid by 11:00 A.M. on September 8, 2026.
Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. PennDOT prequalification is required. Bids of $100,000 or more are subject to Jenkintown Borough’s Responsible Contractor Ordinance. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond equal to 10% of the bid.
Bids shall remain binding for 30 days. The Borough may reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and accept the bid deemed to be in its best interest.
