RFP 10251- WRC Ludlow Entrance Renovation

Project Description: Sealed Bids on behalf of the Community College of Philadelphia, will be accepted online, via the PennBid
Program (http://www.pennbid.net/) for RFP 10251 until October 7, 2026 for the following contracts:
Contract No. 1: General Construction
THE SCOPE OF THE WRC LUDLOW ENTRANCE PROJECT CAN BE FOUND
IN THE ATTACHED DOCUMENTS (ATTACHMENT 1-Scope of Work-
Construction Docs) PROVIDED BY THE ARCHITECT, SITIO ARCHITECTURE +
URBANISM, WHO IS UNDER CONTRACT WITH CCP. ALL OTHER RELEVANT
INFORMATION, DOCUMENTATION, DRAWINGS, ETC. CAN BE FOUND ON
PENNBID.
Bids will be publicly available on PennBid directly after the closing of Bids.
A mandatory Pre-bid meeting will be held on September 17, 2026 at 2:00 pm. The attendees
are directed to meet at the West Regional Entrance, 4725 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19139.
Bidding Documents will be available at no cost at http://www.pennbid.net/ as they become available.
This Project is subject to the provisions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
The Contractor is required to comply with the guidelines and requirements set forth by the
Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), in accordance with Attachment 2-RACP Compliance
Guidelines.
All Bids must be accompanied by a bond with corporate surety or certified check in the amount of ten percent
(10%) of the Base Bid. Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract
Sum will be required from the lowest, responsible bidder for each Contract.
ONCE THE DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF BIDS HAS BEEN REACHED, NO TERMS OF
THE CONTRACT CONTAINED IN THE RFP MAY BE MODIFIED, REVISED OR
CHANGED AND THE OWNER WILL NOT ENTERTAIN ANY SUCH REQUESTS.
