1075 Washington Street, Baldwin MI
Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Land Bank Authority (LCLBA) will accept sealed bids for the Abatement and Rehabilitation of the building located at 1075 Washington Street, Baldwin, Michigan according to the plans and specifications prepared by Nordlund and Associates, Inc (ENGINEER). The LCLBA is funding this project using a Blight Elimination Grant from the Michigan State Land Bank Authority, and the project will be conducted in compliance with grant requirements, including reporting requirements. This project is supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number SLFRP0127 awarded to The State of Michigan by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
The scope of work includes the following complete asbestos abatement, lead abatement, Hazardous Material removal; partial demolition and rehabilitation of the building.
The work requires removal and disposal of all building contents, the total removal of the deteriorated roof, structurally inadequate exterior walls, selected interior partition walls; deteriorated concrete sidewalks/slabs, selected interior partition walls, reconstruction with a new roof, front (north façade), completion of new interior units to “White Box” condition and seal coating parking lot.

FAXED BIDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
There will be an optional Pre-Bid Meeting at 1075 Washington Street, Baldwin MI and site tour on Friday, July 11 at 10:00 am and on Wednesday, July 16 at 10:00 am.
All bids shall be publicly opened on August 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM (EST) at the Lake County Treasurer Office, Suite 210, located at 800 Tenth Street Baldwin, Michigan.
