ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at Architectural and
Engineering Services, 875 Perimeter Drive, Moscow, Idaho until 2:00 p.m. Pacific Local Time, on
Thursday, August 20, 2026, for DPW Project 25254 Art and Architecture Main HVAC Improvements,
Phase 1, University of Idaho, Moscow, Idaho.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include: Extend campus chilled water
service into building, converting the existing steam heating system to a heating hot water system; four-
pipe fan coils and energy recovery ventilators; installation of piping infrastructure and equipment serving
the second floor; new 4" interior slab for new mechanical equipment, thermal wall treatment, and some
acoustical wall treatment.
Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

Pacific Local Time, at the Architectural and Engineering Services, 875 Perimeter Drive, Moscow,
Idaho Bidders are encouraged to attend.
Bidders may download digital files at no cost at www.architectswestplans.com; General Contractors and
Mech/Elec/First Tier subcontractors may obtain one (1) set of documents with a refundable deposit of
$300.00 and a non-refundable fee of $40.00 for handling to be submitted via separate checks payable to
Architects West, mailed to Abadan Reprographics, 603 E. 2nd Ave., Spokane, WA 99202. Deposits will
be returned on receipt of documents for a period of ten days after bid opening, provided they are
complete and in clean, usable condition
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public
Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
