ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at 502 N. 4th St., PO
Box 83720, Boise, Idaho 83720-0072 until 2:00 p.m. local time, on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 for
DPW Project 26030 Food Quality Assurance Lab Fire Alarm Systems, Department of Agriculture,
Twin Falls, Idaho.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include installing a new fire alarm system,
including detection and notification, for the existing Food Quality Assurance Laboratory for the Department
of Agriculture at College of Southern Idaho. Coordination with Department of Agriculture facilities for access
to the site will be required.
Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Thursday, August 13, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m., prevailing
local time, at 1180 Washington Street N, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301. Bidders are encouraged to attend.
One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and
electrical subcontractors from the Design Professional for a refundable deposit of $250.00. Others may
obtain documents at cost, non-refundable.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public
Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
