The Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) is looking for a vendor(s) to digitize geoscience and regulatory data from Alberta’s Mineral Assessment Reports (MAR), NI 43-101 technical reports, and a variety of regulatory reports from industry. Mineral assessment reports are submitted by prospectors and mineral exploration industry to the Government of Alberta as part of their mineral tenure requirements. NI 43-101 technical reports are submitted to the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) or are available in company’s website. Regulatory reports are submitted to the AER from industry as part of their requirements under various regulations including the Coal Conservation Act (CCA), Mineral Resource Development Act (MRDA), Oil Sands Conservation Act (OSC) and conditions for approved Dispositions. The objective is to make archived geoscience and regulatory information collected by industry more effectively available, searchable, and usable to assist in future mineral resource evaluations and regulatory decision making.
