ADVERTISEMENT FOR QUALIFICATIONS

City of Newport, Kentucky

The City of Newport, Kentucky (“Owner”) is soliciting qualifications from experienced and qualified General Contractors for improvements to General James Taylor Park, located at 100 Riverboat Row, Newport, KY 41071.

The project includes demolition of existing park structures, installation of underground utilities, earthwork, concrete curbs and walks, landscaping, lighting, fencing, irrigation, construction of new amenities (restrooms, picnic structures, concert shell, overlook platform, etc.), and related improvements.

Qualifications shall demonstrate relevant project experience, organizational strength, financial stability, safety record, and references. The selected General Contractor will be required to maintain schedule and budget discipline and work collaboratively with the Owner, the Design, Development, and Construction Manager (DDC Manager), and the design team.
