INVITATION TO BID: SCHOOL BUS
Sealed bids will be received by Representatives of the Board of Trustees of Pocatello/Chubbuck School
District No. 25, Bannock County, Pocatello, Idaho, at 3115 Pole Line Road, Attn: Business Office,
Pocatello, Idaho 83201, until 1:00 p.m. March 9, 2026.
Bids are being called for the following:
One (1) 78 Passenger Conventional School Bus
Specifications or additional details may be secured at 3115 Pole Line Road, Pocatello, Idaho 83201.
All bids must be completed on the furnished forms. All blank spaces must be filled in and signed with
the name and address of the Bidder. No unqualified bids will be read.
The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formalities, or to accept
the bid or bids deemed best for Pocatello/Chubbuck School District No. 25.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Complete unit must meet all National and State of Idaho construction standards and specifications
pertaining to school buses. Omission of any part of the National or State of Idaho specifications in the
bid request shall not relieve the bidder of the responsibility of meeting these required standards and
specifications.
It shall be the responsibility of the successful bidder to establish a definite date for delivery. Factory
invoices shall be submitted with delivery of each bus, listing a breakdown of component parts.
Requested delivery date: As soon as possible, no later than January 1, 2027
Payment shall be made when complete school bus unit is delivered F.O.B. Pocatello, Idaho and is
deemed acceptable by Pocatello/Chubbuck School District No. 25.
The dealer shall submit complete specifications and descriptive data as published by the manufacturer.
Also submitted shall be such photographs, charts, and drawings as may be necessary to enable the
Board of Trustees to understand clearly and readily the mechanical features of the proposed body and
complete units or chassis.
The dealer will provide the school district with a copy of the order to the factory showing date of the
order and the factory's acknowledgment and scheduled date of production.
All bids must be submitted in duplicate.

other district staff, Board of Trustees, or Administration, will be by written permission only.
BID EVALUATION
Bids will be evaluated and awarded based on the following three areas:
A. Price.
B. Past performance with service and minimal down-time.
C. Warranty Issues.
Written objections to specifications or bid procedures must be received by the clerk, secretary, or other
authorized official of the district at least one (1) business day before the date and time upon which bids
are scheduled to be received, per Idaho Code Section 68-2806(c).

SPECIFICATIONS FOR 78 PASSENGERS
CONVENTIONAL SCHOOL BUS
Specifications that follow are minimum basic requirements. Any deviations from these specifications
must be noted in the space provided under each specification listing. Failure to do so will result in
rejection of your bid and/or product for noncompliance.
General
Vehicle to be provided per these specifications will be new conventional, diesel and/or gas-powered
school buses. The bus bodies, chassis and major chassis components shall be designed, manufactured
and assembled to provide a projected service life of 15 years with minimal maintenance.
Bidder must be licensed as a dealer to do business within the State of Idaho.
Bidder is required to have a substantial in-state inventory of body and chassis parts with a toll-free
number and field service available.
Vehicles shall meet all current Federal FMVSS and Idaho standards.
