NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Section 307.86 of the Ohio Revised Code
Sealed bids for the Miami County Evanston Private Sewer Lateral Replacement Project Phase II will be
received in the office of the Board of Miami County Commissioners, located in the Miami County Safety
Building, 201 West Main Street, Troy, Ohio 45373 until 9:05 a.m. local time, on Tuesday, April 21st,
2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 9:05 a.m. local time, by the Clerk of the Board of Miami
County Commissioners.
Contract bidding documents (the Bid Package) may be examined at the Miami County Sanitary
Engineering Office, 2200 North County Road 25A, Troy, Ohio 45373. Copies of contract documents
may be obtained by contacting the Miami County Sanitary Engineering Office at 937-440-5653 and will
be sent via e-mail in pdf format only. They will also be available on the County website.
Bids must be signed and submitted on the separate bidding forms and sealed in a properly identified
envelope. Each bidder must submit one (1) original and two (2) copies of each bid.
Bid security shall be provided in accordance with the requirements detailed in the Bid Package.
Bidders shall provide proof of qualifications to perform the work as described in the Bid Package.
Bidders shall comply with all statutory requirements in accordance with the Bid Package.
The minimum wage to be paid for any and all classes of labor employed on this contract shall conform to the
Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements as determined by the Department of Industrial Relations in
accordance with Section 4115, Ohio Revised Code.
Each bidder must ensure that no employee and applicant for employment is discriminated against
because of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, or military veteran status.
The Board of Miami County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities
in any of the bids received, and to accept or reject any or all bids at any time within sixty (60) days
following the date established for the receipt of bids. The Board of Miami County Commissioners
reserves the right to determine which bid is, in the judgment of the Board of Miami County
Commissioners, the lowest and best bid pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code.
