Amendment 002:
The purpose of this amendment is to provide responses to the RFIs submitted by interested vendors and extend the notice deadline to 28 Feb 2025 to allow for sufficient time to review responses and provide answers to the market survey questionnaire.
Amendment 001:
The purpose of this amendment is to extend the sources sought deadline to 26 Feb 2025. While we are not currently conducting site visits, interested vendors are encourages to submit formal Requests for Information (RFIs) via email to the POCs listed ont the notice.

Kadena Air Base anticipates a requirement that is categorized as code 221210 – Natural Gas Distribution under the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) and 6830 – Gases: Compressed and Liquefied under the Product Service Code system.
Requirement: Natural Gas Supply. The Contractor shall provide natural gas, twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, to the Central Utility Plant, Bldg. #961 and near Bldg 5717 at Camp Foster. The Contractor shall conduct periodic and emergency inspections on the US Government-owned gas line from the Camp Foster property boundary to the on-base facility connection point in accordance with Japanese Gas Business Act. As for any matters that are not addressed by the Technical Description (TD), the Government and the Contractor shall have mutual consultation based on the "Supply Rules” and the “General Supply Provisions" of the local Gas Retailer.
