BC Transit, a Crown Corporation of British Columbia responsible for coordinating transit services across over 130 communities (excluding Metro Vancouver), is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather market insights for procuring a reliable, automated hardware and software solution for dispensing bulk fluids such as diesel, CNG, oils, antifreeze, and lube. This solution is intended for its Victoria Transit Centres (Langford and Victoria), with potential future expansion to all BC Transit-owned centers. For 20 years, BC Transit has relied on an outdated version of FuelMaster to dispense fluids and collect data on kilometers and energy consumption, a manual process prone to errors. Recently, the system's reliability has declined significantly, resulting in data inaccuracies, missed kilometer reporting, and fuel inventory issues, posing risks to preventive maintenance compliance.
