Description
The Heart Creek flood mitigation structure is substantially complete, however there are additional scopes of work and deficiency repairs required to complete the project. The remaining work includes:
*Installation of grouted stone pitching to tie into bedrock at upstream end of project.
*Installation of a maintenance access road from the west off Highway 1.
*Installation of erosion protection in Lac Des Arcs.
*Removal of sediment from existing low flow channel.
*Completion of deficiency work including installation of class 3 rip-rap, installation of grout into incomplete grouted stone pitching, cutting existing weep hole PVC, drilling weep holes to ensure they drain site restoration.
*Other minor scopes as required.
