This procurement encourages the successful Bidder to involve Indigenous businesses and individuals in participating in the performance of the work under the contract, by requesting that Bidders submit an Indigenous Participation Plan (IPP) as part of their bid. For more information about how Canada will evaluate submitted IPPs, and for other information related to IPPs in this procurement, see Part 5, SRE 4: Basis of Selection – Highest Combined Rating of Indigenous Participation Plan Score, Technical Score and Price, and also Appendix D: Indigenous Participation Plan Criteria. The CBSA operates a border crossing at the Wilde Horse, AB point of entry between Canada and the United States. As the current facility is out of date and no longer is fit to serve its’ purpose, it is being replaced with a new facility. What is required is an architectural consultant to design the site and all required servicing – including all civil works, roads, landscaping, utilities and required upgrades, building and structures foundation design, any required fencing, demolition of existing buildings and coordination of phasing and traffic plans.
