Scope of Work:
Install new panic devices on exterior doors for Buildings D and E. In Building D’s Multipurpose Room, remove the existing egress doors and replace with new hollow metal doors, hardware and accessories as drawn and specified. (door frames are to remain in place and reused)
Contractor’s Licensing
It is WCSD's opinion that the scope of work for this project qualifies for the following license group: Specialty License C3 if the bidder is performing the majority of the work per NRS 338.139.
If a Contractor would like to seek clarification from the Nevada State Contractor’s Board, then they must do so ten (10) days prior to the bid due date. https://www.nvcontractorsboard.com/
Sealed bids for the Upgrade the Panic Door Hardware at Rita Cannan Elementary School will be received by the Washoe County School District’s (WCSD) Purchasing Department located at the Brown Center 14101 Old Virginia Road, Room #0, Reno, NV 89521, until 2:00 p.m., (Local Time) on August 31, 2026. The bids will be opened publicly via a TEAMS Meeting at 2:30 pm (local time).

Due to access and coordination involved in this project we highly recommend that contractors walk the project site that we are making available.
