Description
The Department of National Defence (DND), is requesting Industry feedback regarding its capacity to vendor manage a strategic stockpile of medical grade personal protective equipment (PPE), required to support domestic and deployed operations of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) during a pandemic.
The mission of the Canadian Forces Health Services (CFHS) is to provide full spectrum, high quality health services to Canada’s fighting forces wherever they serve. Within CFHS, the Strategic Medical Countermeasures Program (SMCP) will acquire and sustain a strategic stockpile of medical products for use by the CAF against identified medical threats encountered during assigned military operations and training, deployed in or out of Canada.
